CMH Nissan Sandton has welcomed a new Dealer Principal. Mark Moffat has extensive experience in the Motor Vehicle industry with 25 years under his belt. When asked where his passion for cars comes from, he answered “I come from a family of motor vehicle enthusiasts”.
Moffat’s father owned a motor vehicle parts retail outlet where Moffat would often work for his father during school holidays. The exposure he got from working for his father ignited his passion for cars. Studying cost accounting in varsity from 1983-1985 certainly gave the new dealer principal a great foundation this senior position that is certainly number driven.
No stranger to the leadership position, Moffat has dealership principal experience. He has held the position frequently for approximately five years throughout his career beginning in 1990 to date. He has climbed the corporate ladder from a sales parts assistant to a sales manager and then became a general sales manager and to now being a Dealer Principal at CMH Nissan Sandton. Moffat is a lover of big cars which makes him the perfect fit for Nissan, particularly the double cabs that Nissan has to offer such as the NP300 Nissan Navara.
With his love for the outdoors which includes fishing, hiking and camping, it’s no wonder that he is a fan of the Navara.
As the leader of CMH Nissan Sandton, Moffat is definitely a team player and does not mind getting his hands dirty and has been known to help out in the workshop now and again with duties such as tyre replacement. He encourages his staff to work hard and take charge and also brings out the whip when necessary to correct any errors and negative behaviours; a well-balanced leadership style.
Moffat’s main focus as the new dealer principal is to ensure that CMH Nissan Sandton is the preferred Nissan Dealership in South Africa by ensuring that the entire team excels with customer relations and the dealership has already seen light of this;

I would like to thank Amisha for the excellent service. She was patient and understanding. With her sound knowledge she was able to answer all questions, which made me comfortable in bringing my car to your dealership. She kept me informed and was honest, in the sense that I wanted the car at 1pm and she calmly explained that this was not possible and this enabled me to understand. When I have any problems I am comfortable to contact her because her approach is welcoming. Thank you Amisha! For the excellent service.
Good morning! Thank you very much for my wonderful gift my family was very excited yesterday. Keep up with the good work.

Mr David made us feel comfortable at the showroom and he showed us around and guided us through the available cars there. We then had a lengthy tour of the car. He was very informative and he was answering very question of ours patiently and knowledgeably. As a salesman, Mr David delivered an incredible service and gives a very pleasant experience.
This proves that Moffat’s vision has already taken off and we wish him nothing but the very best in his new position.
